Mission:

To lead and drive the quality assurance and control processes across all stages of production, ensuring products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. The Quality Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust quality systems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence. A key focus will be on identifying and resolving quality issues, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic goals.

Essential Functions of Role:

- Facilitates the implementation of the quality system in line with the group's procedures

- Ensures and coordinates relations with the various customers

- Ensures compliance with customer quality requirements and objectives

- Monitors the performance of the suppliers in his unit and initiates improvement plans, in line with purchasing

- Decides on deviations from customer quality requirements

- Coordinates system, product and production process audits

- Coordinates the handling of serial incidents and the follow-up of associated action plans

- Coordinates the analysis and processing of warranty returns

- Participates in the measurement of customer satisfaction

- Participation in quality planning.

- Quality management - Continuous improvement

- Supervision of the activities of the Quality Department.

- Quality costs / non-quality costs.

- Relationship / Communication with the General Management.

- Relationship / Communication with all departments.

- Relationship / Communication with customers and suppliers.

- Functional relationship with the quality management of internal customers

Required Qualifications or Experience:

- Is able to perform 2nd party process, product & system audits

- Is able to evaluate process auditors, 2nd party products

- Have good knowledge of products and techniques

- Master quality assurance systems and audit techniques

- Have good oral and written expression

- Experience as a quality manager in a tier 1 manufacturing facility

- Experience dealing with multiple OEM's
