Responsibilities
- Directly reporting to the France R&D Manager as well as the Global Technical Engineering Director, the Technical Team Manager II (M/F) manages a team made up of 10 to 12 engineers, technicians and/or designers
- He/She is responsible for the performance and results of his/her team within his/her own discipline
- He/She develops plans and resources according to given priorities to meet the challenges linked to the launches of new and modified products, while respecting MSA development procedures, safety, quality, deadlines and costs objectives
- Manage a multi-functional technical team of 10 to 12 members and develop the skills of each of its members, while coaching for performance
- Ensures the launch of New Products Developed and existing modified products
- Ensures close and effective collaboration with internal and external partners
Qualifications
- Excellent managerial and organizational skills, and an ability to coach and develop others
- Being autonomous, rigorous, curious and motivated by technical challenges
- With an engineering degree or equivalent Bac +5, ideally specialized in mechanics or materials
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a design office/technical service, including at least 5 years in team management
- Experience in numerical simulation and DFSS is a real asset
- Fluent English and French required
