You will join a multi-cultural, dynamic and caring team working all together and closely on all the digital projects of the brand. Royal Canin's Digital Factory is key in achieving this strategy through the multiplicity of its practices: UX/UI, Development, Product Ownership, Market deployment, Architecture, Governance

While the team will develop new digitally enabled business models that will shape the future of Royal Canin and Eukanuba, they also support the transformation of our existing business models.

In this Digital acceleration context, Royal Canin needs to reinforce its internal strengths with digital, user centric and data capabilities. Based in Aimargues, this job will sit in our Digital Factory, which mission are to:

• Develop our Service-driven and digital platforms supporting “Pet Health Guardians”
• Develop our key capabilities on Design Thinking, UX, Agile Management, Mobile/Web/Ecommerce development, Digital Platform deployment and Data-driven transformation.
• Leverage those capabilities to design and build our future Business Models
• Help in acquiring data and driving traffic to our owned assets, which will help transform data collected into digital performance metrics and business insights.
• Push from global to deploy@ scale and pull from local to global synergy

The Digital factory, as part of the Direct to Pet Owner organization, works in strong partnership with Marketing and sales team and Innovation team.

Reporting to the Develop Factory Lead, we are hiring a Frontend Architect, who will define and drive the frontend technology strategy across the Digital Factory to support the organization ambitions.

The role sits in the Royal Canin Digital Factory in the beautiful South of France region at Aimargues, in the Direct to Pet Owner team and reports to the Develop Factory lead.

The Frontend Architect will work in close cooperation with Delivery leads and their team, Architects, DevOps, support team, product owners, Quality&Security lead.

• He/She will work in close partnership with external partners and delivery to get the functional or technical support required.
• He/She will have to manage all frontend developers working on Royal Canin Global digital ecosystem (> 20 FTE).

Technical skills:

• Angular application development (Angular. 13 -> latest version / Angular element /Webcomponent / Webpack / DevEx / Sonar / React / TypeScript / NPM || Yarn || PNPM / Rxjs / NGRX / FLow Git)
• Micro-Frontend Application development
• Design System
• Application Architecture
• Solution Architecture (preferred)
• Enterprise Architecture understanding
• CI/CD & DevOps understanding
• Digital Business (including eCommerce)
• Fluent English
• French would be nice to have
• Agile Methodology (preferred)
