Job Title: Senior IT WMS Application Consultant / DeveloperJob Location: FrancePermanent Role Overview:As a Senior IT WMS Application Consultant/Developer, you will lead a small team of IT Application Consultants while playing a pivotal role in the implementation and enhancement of our Warehouse Management Systems. Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the IT Solution Manager to translate customer and business requirements into standardized IT solutionsConfigure WMS applications to meet operational & customer needsDevelop and implement complex customizations when standard configurations are insufficientDesign, develop and implement EDI & API solutions for seamless system integrations, e.g. ERP, TMS, CMS, and mechanization solutionsEnsure that all configurations and developments are well documentedCreate and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure solution qualityProvide technical expertise and support during implementation and hyper-care phasesLead, train and mentor a small team of IT application consultants & developers, fostering their growth and developmentWork closely with the IT Solution Manager and other IT specialists to align technical solutions with project goals and business requirements Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience in WMS implementation, configuration, and developmentStrong knowledge of supply chain management and logistics processesExpertise in strategic WMS products (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan)Proven experience in EDI & API design, developments and implementationsProven experience in configuring and customizing WMS applications while adhering to corporate standardization initiatives & policiesFluency in English required.
