About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Country Manager to drive the company's growth and establish its presence in France. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a strong sales background and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment. The Country Manager will play a pivotal role in developing turnover within France, focusing on both SMEs and large corporate clients, while leading a growing team of three talented individuals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Actively engage in developing and executing a robust sales strategy to expand the customer base, with a particular focus on SMEs and large enterprises.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of three sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Build relationships with new clients and maintain strong connections with existing ones to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Market Strategy: Analyze market trends and competitors, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation within the logistics and e-commerce sectors.
  • Hands-On Management: Act as a proactive leader who works alongside the team, setting an example in pursuing business opportunities and closing deals.
  • Collaboration with HQ: Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product) to align strategies, ensuring local insights contribute to global objectives.
  • Reporting: Monitor key metrics and provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing small teams with a track record of inspiring performance.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions.
  • French Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the French business environment, with existing networks being a plus.
  • Fluency in French and English: Essential for internal and external communications.
