We are looking for a Marine Operation Ports & Logistic Coordinator to join their esteemed team in France.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of being the shore-based point of contact for Vessel OIM and Vessel Projects Coordinator. This role demands a proactive approach to managing logistics for the main vessels and tugs, as well as orchestrating crew transfers and personnel movements with precision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary liaison with local port agencies and land stakeholders.
- Overseeing logistic support for marine activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implementing cost control measures and providing comprehensive daily reporting on expenditures.
- Facilitating the permit-to-work process, including the acquisition of working visas and necessary certifications.
Candidates should possess a robust understanding of marine operations, coupled with experience in logistics coordination. Exceptional communication skills are paramount, as is the ability to manage complex logistical tasks with a keen eye for detail. Experience in cost control and reporting is highly desirable.
