To work with the Yacht Management department to ensure year-round continuity of service to the Fleet Managers, Captains and Crew. Maintain all seafarer’s documentation, including related contracts, and to liaise with Employers, as required.
To be the Captain’s point of contact for all crew-related HR queries.
Main Duties:
- Direct contact with Captains / crew;
- Verification and update of personal details, next of Kin and certification expiry dates;
- Maintain and manage all crew certificates for vessels responsible for ensuring they are valid for the position on board including CoC verification when candidates are not proposed by C&N in liaison with the Fleet Manager (and ISM/ISPS manager as needed) using the HR Crew database;
- Safe manning adherence verification with the HR Crew database;
- Assist on crew visas and applications whenever necessary;
- Coordinating the issuance of Seafarers Employment Agreements and other contractual documentation with the Employer;
- Applying for flag documentation;
- Assisting the HR Crew Manager for any special project
