Job Title: Photovoltaic Development Project Manager (Paris, Nantes, or Montpellier)



Company Overview:

My client is a leader in the renewable energy sector, specializing in photovoltaic and onshore wind power solutions. Collaborating with local authorities, they focus on developing and managing renewable energy projects across France.



Your Mission:

As the Photovoltaic Development Project Manager, you will independently manage the development of solar projects across France, from the identification of opportunities through to commissioning.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (e.g., elected officials, design offices, and local communities) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee technical, environmental, and economic studies with internal teams and external consultants, including negotiations and monitoring of services.
  • Manage submissions and secure necessary authorizations for solar and agrivoltaic projects.
  • Prepare internal investment reports and represent in external forums.
  • Identify and prospect new opportunities in line with company strategy, managing feasibility studies and qualification processes.
  • Negotiate with landowners and operators on leases, tenders, and other agreements.
  • Oversee a portfolio of opportunities and manage external service providers.



Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, with 3-4 years of experience in photovoltaic project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a passion for energy development.
  • Familiar with project management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and QGIS).
  • Native-level French and fluency in English preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 times per month across French regions.
