My client boasts one of the largest industrial distributor networks in the world, working across 130 countries and now homing over 44,000 employees across the globe.
The organization has swiftly moved into the world of digitalisation, working on innovative cloud-based projects within Industry 4.0, AI and IoT.
Recently the organisation has gone through a global transformation, decentralising their digital engineering and innovation hubs and spreading them across the world, with this has come the creation of Digital Engineering and Innovation Centre of Excellence.
Their dynamic mission is to establish an exhilarating and cutting-edge environment, fostering openness, creativity, and collaboration. As a Domain Architect, you will be critical in defining interfaces and protocols between software, hardware, and firmware for sensor advancement. Whilst also holding the scope to establish an efficient community across the regional and global technology hubs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience and expertise in digital engineering and architecture, preferably with a focus on IoT ecosystems.
- Knowledge of sensor and hardware development industry, including interface protocols and compatibility between hardware and software.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute tasks.
- Experience with AWS, Azure as well as on-prem platforms
- Ability to navigate a global setup and scale solutions, demonstrating political skills.
- Background in software to hardware development or sensor development, although industry experience in the IoT space is prioritized.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a senior team and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong self-motivation and drive to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
- Adaptability to work in a changing environment and navigate regional teams and partnerships.
