Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin / Spring Boot / AWS)Location: Longpont-sur-Orge (91), France – Hybrid (according to client policy)Contract: Long-term freelance mission (6 months with extensions)Start Date: ASAP / FlexibleLanguages: French and English (mandatory)AboutAs part of the creation of a new cloud-native backend platform, our client is building a small squad of backend engineers to design, develop, and deploy a scalable and observable backend solution integrated with AWS services.You will work in a cross-functional Agile team alongside an Architect, DevOps Engineer, and Product Owner, contributing to the delivery of the first production-ready version of the platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop backend services and microservices using Kotlin and Spring BootDeliver a robust, scalable, and reliable cloud-native backend platformIntegrate backend services with AWS components and servicesContribute to platform observability, including logging, metrics, and tracingParticipate in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deploymentsEnsure clean code practices, testing, documentation, and security standardsCollaborate effectively within an Agile, cross-functional teamRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience as a Backend EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring BootSolid understanding of AWS and cloud-native architecture patternsExperience working with CI/CD pipelinesGood understanding of Kubernetes and containerised environmentsStrong backend fundamentals within the Java ecosystemExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsAbility to work in a hybrid model in Longpont-sur-Orge (91)Fluent in both French and EnglishApply Now m.savaliya@solvex-solutions.com
