Our agile and passionate R&D team works on cutting-edge projects in immunology, oncology, and rare diseases.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist with deep expertise in phage display and antibody fragment engineering (VH, VHH). The ideal candidate will be passionate about antibody discovery, skilled in molecular cloning techniques, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative R&D environment.The ideal candidate will bring over 5-7 years of experience in biotech. The role reports directly to the Director, Antibody. Work location : Paris (15ème)Full-time permanent contractKeys responsabilities :Phage Display Library Selection & Screening:Design and execute phage display campaigns for the selection of antibody fragments (VH, VHH) on recombinant proteins, on live cells and/or vesicules.Design and execute phage display campaigns for the selection of antibody fragments (VH, VHH) of unknown targets ( targets / internalizer identification)Optimize panning strategies for challenging targets, including internalizing receptors and membrane proteins.Perform high-throughput screening of binders using ELISA, FACS or other relevant techniques.Molecular Biology & CloningClone, subclone, and express selected antibody fragments in various formats.Design expression constructs for mono-, bi-, and multi-specific antibody fragments.Troubleshoot and optimize molecular biology workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality outputs.Sample sequencing preparation and Sanger sequencing analysisQualifications & Experience required PhD, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.• ≥5 years of hands-on experience in antibody discovery via phage display (academic or industry).Proven track record in selecting and screening VH/VHH antibody fragments.Strong expertise in molecular cloning techniques (e.g., Gibson Assembly, Golden Gate, site-directed mutagenesis).Proficiency in antibody characterization assays (ELISA, FACS).Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.Experience with single-domain antibody (sdAb) selection and screeningFamiliarity with other display technologies (yeast display, ribosome display).Previous exposure to multi-specific antibody discovery and engineering.Our Values : Scientific curiosity: Ability to explore complex topics with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.Rigor and analytical mindset: Methodical approach, critical thinking when interpreting experimental data, with strong attention to detail and reproducibility.Team spirit: Close collaboration with R&D teams, respect for complementary expertise, and clear, constructive communication.Scientific integrity: Adherence to protocols, transparency in results, and a strong ethical commitment throughout the project.Adaptability: Agility in a fast-evolving environment, ability to handle unexpected challenges, and continuous learning from both successes and failures.Passionate about translating science into impact for patientsWhy join us?Salary: 47K – 53K depending on profileAnnual individual performance bonus100% coverage of Vélib bike subscription60% coverage of family health insurance planExciting, high-impact scientific projectsSupportive and dynamic work environmentSmall, agile team with real responsibilities from day oneModern offices, state-of-the-art equipment… and unlimited coffee
