Our Client is a leading investment firm focused exclusively on healthcare industries with almost 10B in AUM. Its mix of operational, medical, scientific and financial expertise allows to serve as both a strategic and financial partner to North American and European healthcare businesses.
The position is based in Lyon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Sourcing: Actively identify and source investment opportunities through networking, industry research, and building relationships with intermediaries.
- Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, industry assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Investment Analysis: Create detailed financial models to evaluate the potential returns and risks of investment opportunities.
- Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations and structuring processes to secure favorable terms for the company, including valuation, financing, and legal agreements.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage existing investments, including performance tracking, value enhancement initiatives, and exit strategies.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company management teams, co-investors, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify investment opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven success in private equity investing with significant experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with creativity in identifying investment opportunities and driving value creation.
- Leadership experience with the capability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
