Head of Finance


Our client is at the forefront of AI-powered SaaS solutions in the healthcare sector and is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Finance. This role is tailored for an experienced financial leader passionate about driving growth and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-growth, innovation-driven environment.


Head of Finance Overview:


As the Head of Finance, reporting directly to the founders, you will take full ownership of our client's financial strategy, ensuring the organisation's fiscal integrity and sustainable growth. This role provides a unique opportunity to lead financial operations, optimise profitability, and scale a rapidly expanding SaaS enterprise in the healthcare technology industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term financial health.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, delivering precise and actionable financial reports.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of accounting, tax, treasury, and risk management, ensuring robust financial operations and adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Capital Management and Fundraising: Lead capital raising efforts, secure the necessary funding, and manage relationships with investors to support ongoing expansion and innovation.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement financial and operational process improvements to drive efficiencies and enhance scalability.
  • Executive Board Reporting: Present in-depth financial insights and strategic recommendations to the board of directors, aligning financial goals with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.


Candidate Requirements:


  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, DEC or DSCG qualifications are highly desirable.
  • 8+ years in senior finance roles, preferably within fast-growth SaaS or digital health companies.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling finance functions and leading financial operations in globally expanding organisations.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, compliance, risk management, and leveraging financial technologies for enhanced decision-making.
  • Advanced strategic thinking, with a deep analytical mindset and a proactive approach to
  • problem-solving and innovation.
  • Experience managing international finance operations, cross-border transactions, and multi-currency financial management.
  • Based in Paris or within a sub-one-hour commute.
