Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Voice Engineer to join our Operations team for a 12-month contract. This role is focused on the day-to-day operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of production voice systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager, SIP and voice systems, with a strong focus on production support and adherence to best practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support voice systems in production, ensuring their stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cisco Call Manager and SIP technologies.
  • Implement and manage changes in production systems within the framework of BAU (Business As Usual) operations.
  • Provide call support for voice system issues and incidents.
  • Follow engineering documentation and guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and manage voice recording systems, including familiarity with SIP REC technology.
  • Assist in the integration and management of ecosystem products and provisioning systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for knowledge transfer and implementation of new solutions.
  • Adhere to Cisco best practices in all operational activities.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in engineering and voice support.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager and SIP technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience exchanging messages between SIP devices and routers.
  • Familiarity with voice recording systems and SIP REC technology is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB components is an advantage.
  • Experience with ecosystem components and provisioning systems like Kurmi is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage production systems and provide on-call support.
  • Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English.
