Senior Rotating Engineer – Offshore FPSO Project

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for renewal)

Work Arrangement: Residential
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Rotating Engineer to join our team to be located in Paris, in support of an offshore FPSO project. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing rotating equipment engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and optimizing performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage rotating engineering activities under the guidance of the Engineering/Topside Manager.
- Review and validate technical documentation from contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations.
- Support the tendering process and provide technical guidance to resolve interface issues related to rotating equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication between FEED contractors and other project teams.
- Respond to technical queries and participate in technical reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with various specialists and line managers to manage and reduce contractual risks.
- Report progress, highlight concerns, and assist project management as needed.
- Ensure all designs meet HSE requirements and ALARP policy standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years in the Oil & Gas industry, with experience in offshore projects, focusing on rotating engineering.
- Languages: English is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
