Dataiku/Hadoop/PySpark/Python Specialist
Experience/Skill details (in years):
• Over all experience – 5-7
• Relevant experience – In Dataiku
• Mandatory skill required –
• Good to have skills – DataIku and Pyspark
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement new functionalities and processes in connection with the deliverables defined in the "Key Deliverables Schedule" section.
• Test and qualify new features and processes to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Identify and implement technical optimizations during the implementation and testing phases.
• Propose configurable and dynamic implementation solutions in line with the technical and functional architecture rules already in place.
• Develop and update the associated technical-functional documentation.
• Contribute to the diagnosis and resolution of technical and performance issues that may be encountered on a daily basis.
• Provide technical expertise to team members and contribute to communications and compliance with architectural rules and best practices.
• Support user transition to the new platform, including documentation, user data dictionary, training, user support, and presentation of the project's progress.
Required skills:
• You have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 3 to 7 years of experience working as a data engineer or a similar role.
• You have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with big data technologies such as DataIku, Hadoop, and/or Kafka.
• You have proficient programming skills in Python or PySpark and can use them to perform data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• You have experience working with relational and non-relational databases, data modelling, and SQL.
• You have experience working with one of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services.
• You have experience working with data quality, data governance, and data security standards and best practices.
• You have experience working with various data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, etc.
Nice to have skills:
• You are autonomous and self-motivated and can work independently or as part of a team.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can troubleshoot and debug complex data issues.
• You have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• You have experience working in an agile environment and can adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• You have leadership and mentoring skills and can manage a team of data engineers or other technical staff.
