RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Security:

  • Ensure security policies and standards are effectively implemented and comply with the organization's procedures and best practices.
  • Define, implement, and monitor risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review, validate, and manage security requests, exceptions, and deviations.
  • Regularly perform infrastructure security evaluations, such as penetration testing, high-privilege account reviews, and system hardening, and provide detailed analysis reports.
  • Identify and coordinate corrective actions, oversee security incident resolution, and participate in post-incident investigations. Track incidents to completion and report risks or delays to management.
  • Provide cybersecurity guidance to business teams on assessments, audits, and due diligence.
  • Generate regular vulnerability reports and consolidate remediation plans.
  • Monitor and coordinate responses to vulnerabilities and cybersecurity incidents impacting infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and approve network flow requests, recertify firewall rules, particularly for protocols deemed risky by the organization’s policies.
  • Maintain security hygiene and ensure that local security processes are current.
  • Develop and maintain operational technical documentation and security procedures.
  • Provide security indicators (KPIs/ KRIs) and share regular updates on security risks affecting business infrastructure.

Cybersecurity Strategy:

  • Contribute to defining cybersecurity strategy and roadmap within the scope of responsibilities, in collaboration with the CISO and business units.
  • Support the rollout of security initiatives launched by the organization and participate in project governance.

IT Cyber Risk Management:

  • Identify, mitigate, and advise management on key cybersecurity risks.
  • Assist in security audits conducted by internal teams or external regulators.
  • Review and monitor security exemptions, such as risk acceptances.
  • Initiate risk acceptance processes concerning infrastructure vulnerabilities, obsolescence, compliance, and other issues.

Cybersecurity Engineering and Communities:

  • Stay up-to-date with IT security trends and provide recommendations to management to address or reduce risks.
  • Adapt the organization's security policies and guidelines based on local regulations and infrastructure requirements, ensuring proper application.
  • Share insights on cybersecurity research and industry trends.
  • Participate actively in internal cybersecurity communities and working groups relevant to their expertise.

Remote Access and Identity Management:

  • Manage remote access permissions for outsourced service providers.
  • Oversee onboarding, identity management, and related privileges.
  • Conduct periodic recertifications of access for service providers.


EXPECTED DELIVERABLES :

  • Comprehensive risk analysis reports.
  • Risk acceptance documentation.
  • Monthly dashboards summarizing cybersecurity risks, including updates and enhancements to operational security indicators (KPIs/KRIs).
  • Action plans for risk mitigation or remediation.
  • Follow-up reports on penetration testing outcomes.
  • Progress reports on audit remediation plans.
  • Status updates on the implementation of the cybersecurity roadmap for each business unit.
  • Reports tracking the recommendations from audits and penetration tests.
  • Operational documentation, including RACI charts and process descriptions.
  • Progress reports on the resolution of security incidents.
  • Status reports on security requests, particularly for network access approvals.
  • Contributions to the design of secure architectures (High-Level and Low-Level Designs) for complex applications and infrastructure.
  • Creation of security and risk analysis documents, such as security files, flow matrices, and risk assessments.
  • Action plans following interventions with subsidiaries for technical support or security audit missions, including tasks, timelines, and reporting.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Familiar with network security concepts, such as firewalls, proxies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, antimalware, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Skilled in enforcing security policies and hardening technologies.

Proficient with infrastructure security tools, including:

  • Security scanning tools like Qualys or DBProtect.
  • SIEM solutions such as RSA Security Analytics or Splunk.
  • Intrusion detection and prevention systems (e.g., SourceFire, Cisco).
  • Firewall technologies like Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco, or CheckPoint.
  • Endpoint security tools, including antivirus, antimalware, and EDR solutions.
  • Familiar with audit and compliance tools for security.
  • Knowledgeable about security databases such as Imperva.

Skilled in scripting, data analysis, and report generation using business intelligence tools, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
