Field Sales Engineer (m/f/d)


This position will be part of the Display Solutions team in France.


Your tasks


  • Contribute and support during the sales process for advanced installations
  • Educate and train the sales team to ensure technical competence
  • Regional technical support towards corporate end customers and sales channel
  • Support sales team and partners in tenders which requires technical competence
  • Main point of contact and interface regarding products / solutions towards the Product Managers in our headquarter in Munich
  • Close collaboration with the departments Product Management & Solution Engineering in our headquarter, aiming at creating solutions focused on the market requirement
  • Exercise and share market intelligence for our products, solutions and applications
  • Strong relationship with customers as well as ECO partners regarding our software and hardware solutions
  • Support in maintaining and updating the online product information of our products
  • Technical project management at exhibitions and events


Your profile


  • Successfully completed studies in (business) engineering, electrical engineering or computer science or and / or comparable completed technical training
  • Experience in AV and display related technologies
  • Very good English skills (business fluent in speech and writing)
  • Very good IT & IT infrastructure skills (PC, servers, switches) as well as IT networks
  • Solid software skills such as Windows operating systems, Linux (Ubuntu), Android, software distribution, CMS systems and MS Office, and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
  • Experience and knowledge in the fields of LED, light and laser technology and microelectronics
  • Willingness to regular business trips in the sales region
  • Creative and solution minded approach
  • Convincing and secure appearance as well as assertiveness
  • Strong customer focus and sociability and high presenting and communication skills
