Linnk Engineering are working alongside a pioneering Chemical business to assign a Piping Specialist to their Engineering team on a contract basis in Europe. Our client's industrial engineering teams are involved in many exciting projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Apply best piping expertise to reach the required reliability, availability & maintainability for customers.
- Develop and deploy expertise with recommendations on Piping valves and Materials.
- Collaborate with other functions such as instrumentation, process, civil, and procurement.
- To propose technical solutions that match the required performances and availability versus the required criteria defined for quality, budget (cost) and schedule.
- To participate in inspection at the workshop and provisional/final acceptance.
- Provide Pipe Fittings & pipe valve checks.
Sills and Experience:
- Piping stress analysis
- Valve technology
- Read a P&ID
- ASME B31.3, ASME B16.20, ASME B16.21, ASME B16.34, PED, ASME IX,…
- 8-10 years experience
