As an Automation Lab Technician, you’ll help design, implement, and validate automated molecular biology workflows, supporting the mission to deliver clinical-grade innovation in oncology.What you’ll doAutomate sample preparation workflows for FFPE tissue and molecular biology steps (extraction, purification, quantification, library preparation, etc.) for NGSDevelop, adapt, and validate automated methods on robotic platforms (Hamilton, SPTlabtech, or equivalent)Optimise existing workflows to improve robustness, reproducibility, and throughputWrite and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, validation reports, instrument logs)Train and support laboratory staff in the use of automated protocolsPerform first-line maintenance and ensure the proper functioning of automated systemsWho you areBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or BiochemistryAt least two years’ experience in a molecular biology laboratory with proven expertise in protocol automationStrong knowledge of DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, and NGS library preparationExperience with automation platforms (Hamilton, SPTlabtech, or similar) and scripting tools (Python, VWorks, VENUS, etc.) is an advantageDetail-oriented, analytical, and well-organised; thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary teamGood command of English and familiarity with quality standardsThis is your chance to make a real impact in a fast-growing, mission-driven team, with a competitive salary, collaborative environment, and the opportunity to shape the future of precision medicine.
