Turner Lovell is recruiting for a leading power conversion company at the forefront of the electrification of the world's energy infrastructure.

As a Power Electronics and modelling Engineer, you will be responsible for the study and design of medium-voltage electrical systems in a variety of fields, including ship propulsion, high-speed rotating machines and the stability of complex network systems.

Your tasks will include :

  • Establishing the dimensions of the various components of the electrotechnical system to define their characteristics
  • Analysing and drafting technical specifications and component specifications.
  • Modelling and simulating the system to validate its operation
  • Carry out harmonic, transient and network stability studies.
  • Define the system's overall protection and associated selectivity.
  • Provide on-site support during the commissioning of your projects or during expert assessments.
  • Support other functions from the tender phase through to commissioning.

Qualifications required:

  • Engineering degree or Master's 2 in Power Electronics
  • Initial experience in systems sizing is a plus
  • Good knowledge of simulation software (MATLAB/Plecs)
  • Fluency in French and English (level B2) and willingness to travel.
