Quality Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Hogrefe is an international media company specializing in the field of psychological diagnostics. Our E-Assessment department develops the Hogrefe Test System (HTS), a web platform for comprehensive online psychological assessments. Software Engineers, Psychologists, Support, Software Testers, UX/UI Designers as well as Scrum Masters and Product Owners who develop, learn and progress together. You provide our software engineers with tools and guidance to improve the quality of our software
You champion quality by writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure our software components are robust and reliable
You develop comprehensive test plans and perform manual tests for software functions with the aim of automating them
Actively support the software engineers in fixing bugs
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable subject area
Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Typescript or Python
At least three years of professional experience as a QA software engineer
Experience in creating and tracking software quality metrics to improve product quality and developing test plans
You work independently, are a team player and have strong communication skills in German and English
