I am looking for and experienced Bioinformatician (genomics/transcriptomics) for the role of expert and manager in bioinformatics.

Initially you will supervise at least 1 expert in bioinformatics who will be recruited in 2024 and the team will quickly expand.

Your missions will be as follows:

For research projects, help biologists develop experimental plans involving bioinformatics analyses, mainly in transcriptomics

For advanced projects, ensure bioinformatics analysis to characterize products intended for clinical investigation

Conduct bioinformatics analyzes and quality controls obtained on sequencing data (transcriptomics and genomics)

Design and implement solutions to integrate and exploit data from different types of analyzes (transcriptomes, exomes, whole genomes, etc.)

Provide visualization tools to aid in the interpretation of biological data

Provide support in the implementation of analysis plans for the processing of biological data,

Produce summary reports and present them orally

As Manager, plan the bioinformatics activity and provide the associated resources.

Requirements: Doctorate or Master's degree in bioinformatics. At least 5 years of professional experience in the analysis of transcriptomic (bulk, single cell, spatial transcriptomics) and genomic (exomes and whole genomes, oncopanels) data.

You have excellent command of the R language, languages ​​and tools used in bioinformatics: Linux/Unix, bash, Python, version management (Git, Github/Gitlab), containerization (Docker/Singularity), workflow automation (snakemake, nextflow). You master the workflows for interpreting genomic and transcriptomic sequencing data (variant calling, differential gene expression, multiomics data integration) as well as traditional HPC and Cloud Computing infrastructures.

It is not necessary to have management experience.
