We are looking for an experienced professional who can be assigned as a Project Engineering Manager. The engineering lead is the technical referent of the project, internally and externally with the Client. He/She is responsible for identifying project risks related to design . He/She supports the project manager by being proactive and providing regular reporting.
The position reports hierarchically to the Engineering Department and functionally to the Project Manager to which he/she is assigned.
As such, the responsibilities are as follows:
Manage a team of multidisciplinary project engineers
Supervise subcontracted engineering activities
Manage the planning and participate in the management of the project's engineering budget
Be responsible for all technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and codes, as well as compliance with the company's engineering processes
YOUR MISSION
Project engineering management
Organize, coordinate and control the project engineering team (internal or subcontracted) in order to issue all project deliverables
Ensure the adequacy of the project engineering team with the workload, identify additional expertise needs to be mobilized if necessary
Manage weekly project engineering meetings, as well as technical reviews and the implementation of associated actions
Control the quality of project engineering activities, and compliance with standards, Customer specifications, QHSE requirements, and applicable internal processes
Proactively identify potential contractual changes and prepare associated support files
Manage requests for clarifications/technical deviations with the Client and subcontractors.
Resolve technical difficulties, relying on your team, to propose practical solutions, and by collaborating with project management and with the Client
Coordinate the engineering activities necessary for purchasing
Coordinate engineering activities related to qualification tests planned as part of the project
Ensure an interface with the construction team, to ensure that design is properly taken into account in manufacturing activities. Review key construction documents, and participate in resolving engineering issues associated with manufacturing and installation
Prepare regular reporting to project management and the engineering department, integrating cost and planning aspects
Identify the project's engineering risks, and manage the associated action plans
Participate in project feedback
Contribute to the maintenance and development of the company's QHSE culture
Participation in updating tools and documents for the engineering department
~ Assist the Engineering Department in setting up and maintaining a database of engineering tools
YOUR PROFILE
With a high degree in Engineering and eventually a specialization in Mechanics , you have 10 years of successful experience in managing teams of engineers or as an Engineering Manager for turnkey projects.
Significant experience in Oil & Gas and pipelines would be highly appreciated.
You have a good knowledge of the technical standards and codes specific to the oil industry.
You are involved and proactive in terms of quality, health and safety.
You speak english fluently . Knowldge of French would be a plus .
Knowledge of Abaqus and Solidworks software would be a plus.
You can rely on y our management and leadership skills to coordinate teams internally and externally . Your communication and listening skills allow you to represent ITP towards its customers and partners, and to establish long-term cooperative relationships with them.
Autonomous, with a critical sense and a strong sense of proposal , you will be able to provide high-value technical support to all the company's teams.

A recognized world leader in the field of energy, ITP InTerPipe has specialized since 1992 in the design, supply and manufacture of highly insulated and electrically traced pipes (pipelines and tubings) for the transport of gases and liquids.
