As Senior Category Manager, you are part of the Group Procurement Organisation. Fully integrated into the Global Category Management Teams, your main responsibilities are:IT & Guest Technologies (GT) - Category ExpertiseOwn & propose category strategy for GT & IT categories (included but not limited to Core Software, ERP, Hardware, Resellers, Cloud)Develop and define sourcing strategies for GT & IT as per above categoriesEase, formulate and deliver the Category Strategy, the understanding of drivers, market forces, SWOT, etc.Support category knowledge to grow procurement offers and drive category expertiseGuest Technologies - Suppliers Management & Market KnowledgeManage International IT & GT contracts/suppliersSecure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliersAccountable for category suppliers' management (Governance & Business Review)Secure supplier selection processes with RFI / RFQEnsure the best conditions in the marketEase business & market intelligenceSpend & BudgetControl spend of IT & GT to capture Rate of specific categoriesResponsible for the budget achievement and for cost optimization (cost out & savings)Manage remuneration processesCrunch dataIT & GT - Support Category VisibilitySupport and actively promote the Group procurement functions for direct & indirect procurementDevelop category communities for all regions & departmentsAlign category strategy with key internal & external stakeholdersCommunicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall strategyEngage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholdersAble to sell solutions internally, but also to external customersEase & support the IT savings targets with managing from A to Z projectsCoordination of Transversal ProjectsParticipation in projects for Sustainability / Marketing (e.g., zero plastic)Inflation/Deflation reporting and trackingIdentify and implement solutions to increase the capture rateTrack KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoptionReport & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)QualificationsAs Senior Category Manager you should:Demonstrate agility & resilience to changesBe able to deal with Direct & Indirect procurementLead at an international level the Guest Technologies portfolio (suppliers, hotels, customers)Maintain and improve global performance (Contracts, data, savings)Be able to develop the relationship with all brands and customers to increase complianceDevelop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwidePosition is international, and requires dealing with many stakeholdersManage market uncertaintyIn addition, as the right candidate, you should have the below requested formation & experience:At least 6 years experience in indirect & direct procurement with an international backgroundRelevant work experiences in negotiationProven track record as a Category Manager & BuyerAwareness in distribution, B2B, or B2C, E-commerceContract managementExperience in required categoriesHospitality experience is a plusLast but not least, the candidate should have:Ability to listen & understand to customer's needs (stakeholders & hotels)Work in an international environmentStrong communication and negotiation skillsInfluencing skills & ease flexibility in approach between different stakeholdersPersonal integrity and strong work ethicsRequired language skills: Fluent English (Daily working language), French will be a plus and any others.
