The company's offerings span IT infrastructure, global services, imaging and printing.We invent, engineer and deliver technology solutions that drive business value, create social value and improve the lives of our customers.We are seeking a Support Analyst to join our Department of Internal Affairs Team supporting one of our key Government clients and play a key role in managing and resolving production incidents.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, analyze, and resolve production incidents reported in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and maintaining strong relationships.Collaborate with developers, testers, and business teams to investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.Escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.Document incident resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and recurring issues for knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to automation efforts to enhance system stability.Provide support for application releases, deployments, and post-release monitoring.Ensure compliance with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and organizational standards.Planning and co-ordination change control via SDLC.Co-ordinate, report, lead, and minute cyclic service delivery meetings between DXC production support team, client and vendor.Key Requirements:Experience in incident management and ticket handling using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships.Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex production issues.Familiarity with software development and testing processes to effectively communicate with development teams.Basic understanding of databases (SQL), application logs, and troubleshooting techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in IT support, application support, or a similar role.Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server) or other relevant tech stacks.This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, engage with customers, and contribute to maintaining high system reliability.
