Therefore interns work in a team on real projects from day one, with guidance from experienced engineers, and also have dedicated time for personal development.What could you be doing as a CPU Formal Verification Intern?As part of the CPU verification team, interns will contribute to verifying Arm cortex IPs to the highest quality standards using a wide range of methodologies, tools and programming languages. Innovative formal methods are also at the heart of Arm verification strategy.Interns will develop scripts, tools, models and testbenches using various programming languages, such as SystemVerilog and Python.We are looking for individuals who:Are students in their last year of Masters (BAC+5 or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (other degrees may also be considered based on experience), who are available for a 5 or 6-month internship, with the following skills:An engineering approach with strong problem-solving skillsCuriosity for CPUs and digital systemsSome experience, knowledge or interest in Formal Verification techniques.Experience with at least one programming language such as PythonAn understanding of computer architecture fundamentalsExcellent attention to detailCreativity and ability to communicate ideas effectivelyGood interpersonal and teamwork skillsQualities that will help your application stand out:Knowledge of one of the main CPU architecturesFamiliarity with basic digital design conceptsFamiliarity with a hardware description language, such as VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilogExposure to verification techniques and testbenches (such as Formal)Use of a Linux environment and shell programming/scripting: bash, git, make, sshExposure to low-level programming or driver developmentAdditional Information:We encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis.Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree.French Law requires students to complete an internship agreement (Convention de Stage). This is a tripartite agreement signed by the student, their home university and host organization, that facilitates an internship in France.
