**Position**: Engineer within the Project discipline on a Project

**Domain**: LNG (small & mid-scale LNG & base-load regasification LNG terminals)

**Experience**: 4 to 8 years of experience

**Description of tasks and tools**
- Reports to the Head of Project Management & Control Department
- During project, reports to the Project Manager and Project Director (if assigned)
- The project engineer will assist with managing, scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, technical activities to ensure project objectives.

Within department:

- Contribute to the drafting and the updating of standards, procedures and work instructions;
- Exchange experiences and best practices with colleagues within the Group;
- Keeps up-to-date on developments and trends of the Department

**Main Responsabilities**
Within Project:

- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned

engineering projects;
- Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the

most capable employees and monitoring the Engineering team.
- Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and

representing them to project Manager and Engineering Teams;
- Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and

personnel performance and reporting on the project's status;
- Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other

project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create

more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability;
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective

actions;
- Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment;
- Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices,

policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Identifing Change Orders related to Engineering Scope.

**Skills**
- Technical and Personal skills:

- Four or more years in the similar responsibilities preferably in the Oil

& Gas Industry;
- Experience with Project Planning;
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Planning and design

and visualization software.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Excellent supervision skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decisionmaking

skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best

practices.
