Job Description Summary

This position will be responsible to create and develop ongoing business relationships with our customer’s senior managers, technical supervisors, purchasing managers, and chemists to maintain and grow a sustainable and profitable business. This position will also be responsible for selecting and managing our Distributors in developing growth plans and ensuring objectives are met. The position will work closely with the Sales in other regions, technical service group, and marketing group to ensure proper support and alignment.

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement a business strategy for the region to bring the desired profitable growth Implement Elementis pricing strategy in the Region Identify and deliver on NBO’s Support the GKAM’s in developing relationship and business with the Global Key Accounts in the Region.

**Job Description**:
Develop and implement a Sales strategy for the region
- Define a strategic sales plan for the region, e.g. how will we win and capture available growth, and establish a larger share of wallet, as well as improve the profitability. Also, to secure the required growth in line with Elementis strategy.
- Set and deliver on the region’s growth targets (objectives for volume, revenue and margin, milestones), translate the strategic plan into operational action plans to drive financial growth
- Implement pricing strategy in the Region.
- Make analyses in the direction of the market and our own competitive position, and prepare business plans/ ideas for Coatings.
- Proactively provide analysis and recommendations on performance to the management to enable maximization of the sales, contribution margin and operating profit
- Customer Value Proposition for the region: build a winning, compelling proposition for the region defining why Elementis is their perfect partner supplier, aligned with the overall VCP.
- Identify costs and benefits across the total value chain to identify a clear return for all investments and savings opportunities.
- Track performance: monitor the region’s progress on objectives and the completion of activities within the strategic plan and deliverables, present to Coatings team on a regular basis.

Lead the Coatings and Adjacent markets business
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customers, key accounts and distributors in Coatings and Adjacent markets.
- Align with the Coatings and Adjacent markets strategy on Global Key Accounts, Global Distribution and ensure efforts and communication are optimized.
- Create, implement and execute a regional sales plan, ensure that contribution margin and operating profit results are achieved.
- Ensure our products and technologies are understood by the customer and technical issues are solved, work closely with Technology, Finance, Customer service and Supply Chain and ensure that goals are aligned and issues are resolved in time.
- Analyze, report and present market & customer insights and own competitive position, develop sales forecasts.
- Ensure that customer information, meetings and agreements are recorded properly, in time, in full, in the agreed formats and systems.

Identify and deliver on NBOs
- Assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Identify NBO’s: uncover and quantify growth opportunities (and risks) for Elementis products to drive profitable growth for Elementis, together with Marketing, Technical Sales and Technical Service.
- Plan: create a plan to realize new business identified in the region.
- Investment opportunities: create and present business cases for opportunities identified

Cooperate with GKA organization
- Cooperate with the GKAM’s to implement GKA’s strategy in the Region.
- Meet targets and strategic objectives and track performance: monitor GKA’s progress on (financial) objectives, critical milestones, risks, opportunities and the completion of activities within the strategic plan and deliverables in the Region.
- Develop and maintain the productive and professional relationships with key personnel at the GKA’s in the Region.
