**"Lead Riser" to join the centre of expertise located in Nimes (France)**

**Introduction to the Job**

We are looking for a "Lead Riser" capable of performing complex analyses of dynamic pipe systems, but also of supervising a small team and managing project packages (interfaces, planning, etc.). Technical mastery of commercial analysis tools is required (e.g. Orcaflex, Shear7) as well as the ability to create routines to implement specific internal methods (e.g. in Python).

**Job description**

The responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Lead the assigned package / project team;
- Coordinate the verification and review process of internal design tools;
- Lead and/or perform the necessary analysis for the studies and the preparation of project deliverables, taking into account applicable codes and standards;
- Ensure verification and review of all deliverables;
- Assume responsibility for the deliverables and their quality;
- Interface with the rest of the project team, in particular to communicate on progress;
- Coordination with other disciplines, the client and any other relevant parties;
- Assisting in resource estimation, task planning and forecasting, progress monitoring and meeting the expected completion of deliverables.

As a Lead Riser, you will report to the Chief Engineer in charge of the project in Nîmes and to the General Manager of the company. You will work mainly in our Nîmes office, with occasional travel abroad for project meetings and/or seminars. Teleworking is possible according to the agreement in force in the company, with mandatory presence in the offices at least three days a week.

**You are meant for this job if**
- You are preferably a hydrodynamic and/or mechanical engineer. At least 8 years of experience in subsea pipe sizing and dynamic analysis is desirable, including small team and project package management.
- You enjoy working in a team, sharing your knowledge, developing your colleagues and learning from them. You are autonomous in managing your work while communicating naturally with your team and managers.
- You are solution-oriented, your goal will be to help us solve complex problems. You are open-minded, speak professional English and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
