Job Purpose:
The Prestige Acceleration team, part of the Business Acceleration & Transformation Department, is looking for an intern to work with us on transversal marketing projects and exciting commercial initiatives.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneur, creative and "make-it-happen" mindset that is willing to learn and develop Marketing skills in an international and highly dynamic environment.
Pernod Ricard is actively engaged into an ambitious Transform and Accelerate Roadmap supporting the Group ambition to become a conviviality platform, enabling to stretch its growth model. The conviviality platform is including initiatives to grow market shares from our core business, of which Prestige acceleration, with the ambition to grow our position in the Prestige segment.
MMPJ has a dedicated unit within the Business Acceleration and Transformation team, the Prestige Acceleration team, whose mission is to drive and deliver to markets according to their level of maturity a tailor-made prestige business strategy for Martell, Mumm and Perrier Jouët.
The Prestige Acceleration Team is looking for an intern to work with us on transversal projects and develop B2B, on-trade and Direct-to-VIP roads to markets for Martell, Mumm, Perrier Jouët and Chateau Sainte Marguerite.
The Position:
The Prestige Acceleration Intern will be a key member of the Prestige Acceleration team (1 Head Of, 1 Global Affinity Partnerships Manager, 1 Global Prestige On-Trade Manager, 1 Global Private Client Manager).
This unique and very diverse role primarily consists of assisting in the delivery of Prestige and Ultra-Prestige strategy for Martell Cognac, Mumm & Perrier-Jouët Champagne and Château Saint Marguerite wines.
Missions & Responsabilities:
Luxury Partnerships
- Supporting the B2B Partnerships strategy and pipeline with creation of inflexion tools (negotiation tools, experiences concepts, etc)
- Support the prestige taskforce monthly sessions
- Competitive reviews with luxury actors (transportation, financial sector, artistic institution, etc)
- Building quarterly best practices toolkit with markets
- Building on-going global calendar of brand activations and sharing the info/follow-up with the relevant stakeholders
- Support the creation of the Expert Committee (committee of luxury experts)
Prestige On-Trade
- Follow up of the Prestige On-Trade Dev Plan (Gastronomy Plan, Martell Prestige On-Trade dev plan, RSRV Bistro Plan ) in different markets
- Support in selecting the Venues
- Support in developing new service rituals and Experiences for the Plans
- Organize Brand homes visits and delivery of the goods
- Tracking and sending the Prestige POS to the Market
- Be the support of local activation the Brand
- Animate the Hospitality Communities (Chefs, Sommeliers, Barmans, F&B, Cigar club’s Members )
- Take care of the Personalization demand
- Support in building slides to present our Prestige On-Trade Strategy
Direct-to-VIP
- Update of sales & marketing assets of products and experiences for Private Client Managers (PCMs)
- Support the creation of specific tools for PCMs
- Support the organization of PCMs summits and get-togethers
- Support monthly meetings with PCMs community to share latest initiatives for VIPs, brands key moments, updated tools, qualitative and quantitative analysis of local and global HNWI clientele done with CI etc
- Build regular best practices toolkit to share PCMs initiatives around the world
Who we are looking for:
- Last year of study either in a business school or university
- You are organized, rigorous, methodical and proactive;
- You are dynamic and always eager to learn new things;
- You have an excellent command of both written and spoken English (daily use);
- Previous successful experience in international marketing;
- Strong affinity with premium/luxury brands and their universes;
- An experience abroad is a plus;
- Already an understanding of wine & spirits category is a plus.
