Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a **Qualification Substantiation and Material Engineer**(f/m) to join our **S**TC* So**lutions Programme / Customer Services based in Toulouse, France.

We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB*, ICA* and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts, through our dedicated: Team, Processes, Suppliers and Means (dedicated Kit Factory).

Integrated in the STC Solutions Programme Technical Validation team, our Qualification Substantiation and Material Engineer is a bridge between the Engineering Departments and the Certification Engineers in order to ensure the demonstration of compliance to the developed design solutions.

**Your challenges**:
Integrated to Multi-Functional Teams addressing Cabin Systems upgrades projects on various programs (SA, LR, DD, WB, XWB), the Job Holder is responsible for following missions:

- Providing technical expertise to design reviews,
- Developing and validating substantiation reports (stress ATA 25 & 53, static, dynamic seat and flammability), according to time, cost and quality requirements,
- Organizing technical coordination with vendors / suppliers, guarantee the technical compliance of developments to specification in order to achieve on-time items deliveries,
- Ensuring the safety of Airbus STC Solutions, especially with respect to ATA25 and 53 chapters

The Job Holder is also actively involved in the acceptance of deviation to anticipated designs:

- Validating unintentional deviation to production (concessions) or to installation (Technical Adaptation) from a substantiation point of view,
- Analyzing impact of in service feedback not anticipated in aircraft ICA (damages, requests for repairs).

**Your boarding pass**:
Required hard skills:

- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Educated to Master level (or equivalent) in aeronautical Engineering,
- Airbus aircraft general knowledge,
- Excellent practice of English, both written and spoken,
- Know How and Experience in Aircraft structure stress activities,
- Knowledge of Airbus method and tool (Isami, Hyperworks, Nastran)
- Knowledge in General Regulation Requirements - CS25,
- Basic knowledge on Fireworthiness for cabin elements,
- Experience as EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) or equivalent is a plus,
- Basics knowledge in Technical Project Management.
