**Export Manager Distributor Sales, Africa**
**Job role**
We are currently looking for an Export Manager to join our Distributor Sales team to develop and manage the Kemppi and Trafimet distributor network for Africa. This is a particularly exciting opportunity if you enjoy developing a business both in the short term and long term.
**Key responsibilities**
- Management and development of existing distributor Network across Africa
- Development and implementation of multi-year growth plans for the region together with Sales Leadership (Local Business Plan Distributor Sales)
- Reviews, evaluates Distributor’s performance (by category)
- Monthly & quarterly feedback to Distributors regarding performance (CRM)
- Regularly visiting Distributors and End Users according to plan communicated with Sales Leadership
- Motivates Distributors to participate to Sales Trainings (online and live events) provided by Kemppi Group
- Ensures Distributors are organizing local open house days, conferences, trade shows and seminars to customers especially regarding new Kemppi & Trafimet equipment & solutions (supports locally if needed)
- Makes during each Distributor
- or End User visit travel report and save to CRM according to instructions
- Searching and nominating new Distributors when commonly decided together with Sales Leadership
- Provides / Manages continuous support for Distributor’s (marketing, training, after sales, customer service, logistics) all activities together with Kemppi Specialists in HQ
- Follow up and credit collection of due receivables
**_ To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:_**
- Background in Technical Sales, background in the welding industry is a plus, not a must
- Experience in international sales with a focus on Africa
- Passion to uncover and develop new business opportunities
- Hands-on mentality
- Fluency in English, French and ideally Arabic
- Negotiation Skills, with the ability to create win-win-win situations
- Passion for Value and Consultative Selling
- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen
- Self Starter
- Problem Solver with attention to detail
- Project Management Skills
- Team player who is able to use the full tool chest of Kemppi & Trafimet to achieve the agreed targets
- Availability to travel frequently
