We are looking for one** DevOps for STRASBOURG, **on-site, with **EU-passport** to start a **1-year contract** (extensions possible) for an EU-agency-client.** Start date: ASAP,** realistic in JULY, maybe some weeks later, when you don't have a current EU-SECRET-clearance.

**BACKGROUND**
- Our client is an** international organisation** and a great reference in any CV English speaking environment.
- **This role will be 100% onsite in Strasbourg**:

- **This is a real long-term contract with **possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability (initial 220 day contract, where 2x 220 day extensions are foreseen).
- **EU nationals ONLY** (due to the "EU" security certifications required). We can't accept any longer UK-consultants, as long they don't have EU-security-clearance or another EU-citizenship (Please note, after Brexit the UK-consultants can't get any longer "EU" security clearances, which is mandatory for this position).

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for one** DevOps for STRASBOURG (**80% on-site, 20% proximity/nearby) with **EU-passport** to start a 3**x 1-year contract** (extensions possible) for an EU-agency-client.** Start date: ASAP,** realistic in JUNE, maybe some weeks later, when you don't have a current EU-Confidential-clearance.

**TASKS**
- Develop tools and infrastructures in order to support Build & Deployment activities;
- Manage, support and improve Build and Deployment pipelines;
- Effectively implement a DevOps strategy and associated processes.

- **Utilize Argo CD for declarative GitOps continuous deployment in an OpenShift environment.**:

- Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, aiming to streamline the release process and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with the developers to ensure the quality of the release.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team for changes that may be needed in the tools, networks or Servers
- Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration, including build automation, testing, and code quality checks.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks and tools into the CI pipeline to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions within the OpenShift environment to track system performance, identify issues, and facilitate troubleshooting.

**SKILLS**
- Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master degree or equivalent), after the secondary school.
- Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in a DevOps role, involved in maintaining DevOps tools & platform.
- Thorough understanding of the SDLC, and knowledge of Agile methodologies;
- Knowledge of automation tools used to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery;
- **Working knowledge of known DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Openshift;**:

- **Knowledge of Scripting languages (like Groovy);**:

- Knowledge on mobile device technologies (React Native, xCode) and Operating systems (Android, iOS) would be **advantageous**;
- Technical writing skills would be an advantage.
