**Your work environment**:
**Within the Group**, you will join the Group Ceded Reinsurance team whose mission is to contribute to AXA Group overall earnings stability worldwide, to support our entities’ development, and to benefit from capital diversification and reinsurance retention, through optimizing and securing reinsurance programs of all AXA businesses and entities.

Within this Department, you will be part of the Underwriting Group Protection team whose mission is to structure and place the Group Covers. Within UGP you will be part of the UGP SPE team who is in charge of the Liability, Specialty and Cyber covers.

**Your job and daily missions**:
**JOB PURPOSE**

**DIMENSION**

The UGP SPE team oversees circa 50 treaties for both AXA SA & AXA XL specific reinsurance treaties across a multitude line of business (Liability, Specialties and Cyber)

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

You will structure and place key programs including but not limited to the Marine Composite Programme, working in close connection with ‘client executives’ of our entities and with AXA XL reinsurance and UW contacts (AXA XL being the AXA entity dedicated to commercial lines), in strong relation with AXA Group Risk Management, supported by brokers and reinsurers.

Your main accountabilities will be to:

- Place reinsurance programs for Group covers in close collaboration with AXA entities, and especially with AXA XL, ensuring the adequate recourse to brokers
- Guarantee adequate collaboration with the actuarial department and with the respective Lines of business within AXA entities

In addition to the responsibilities described above and specifically for AXA XL, you will be responsible for:

- Analyzing the AXA XL portfolios to be reinsured and monitor the results of treaties
- Execute annual reviews of terms and conditions of reinsurance treaty wordings to secure alignment between AXA entity reinsurance wordings and AXA Group Cover contract wordings
- Taking part in the coordination of actuarial studies carried out by AXA XL and AXA GIE teams on the various AXA XL treaties
- Interacting with AXA XL UW teams
- Contributing to the identification of reinsurance structures to protect the results and balance sheet of AXA XL, and to optimize the value retained
- Coordinating reinsurance decisions along with the AXA XL governance
- Participating in negotiations on reinsurance terms and conditions with AXA XL, brokers and reinsurers

Your expected Results:

- Define adequate Specialty reinsurance solutions for the Group: capacities, structure wordings, pricing.
- Negotiate and ensure placement of the Specialty protections within Group standards at inception date
- Ensure a proper reporting / communication towards the AXA Group Specialty Reinsurance community

You will report to the Head of Specialty and Liability Covers.

**Votre profil**:
**MAIN COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCES**

**Experience**:

- BAC+5 in Insurance, Actuarial, Finance or Legal
- At least 5 year experience in insurance or reinsurance

**Techniques**:

- Strong knowledge / expertise in Specialty
- Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance techniques, products and markets
- Risk Analysis (data/wordings/structures)

**Languages**:

- French & English (speaking & writing)
