As a **Senior LV Secondary Engineer**, you will be a part of LV Secondary team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, and interaction with all HVDC disciplines (Tendering, Sourcing, manufacturing, Installation and commissioning,..,..) to support design and delivery of LV Secondary scope for all HVDC projects around the world.

LV Secondary Engineering scope covers:

- _ System architecture and deliverables definition_
- _ Hardware design_
- _ Control and Automation_
- _ Protection_
- _ Auxiliary Distribution_

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- _Requirement & Design_
- _ _E_ngineering Design Process & Review _
- _Reviewing and approving key technical documents_
- _Customer interface and training _
- Support the business Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales needs.
- Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people.
- Play a key role in engineering design reviews and technical leadership, identifying potential project risks and technical weaknesses and proposing safe, reliable and compliant solutions.
- Execute and provide guidance for the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/project requirements.
- Responsible to define strategies and roadmap for development of the team.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Continuously improving the product in terms of delivery speed, stability, and reliability.
- Responsible for knowledge capitalisation.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in LV Secondary System design in HVDC projects or equivalent Engineering field.
- Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, ownership of technical discussions with customers and capable of developing client relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Problem Solving skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects; Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Proven technical leadership in a complex system engineering development environment.
- Proven experience of cross-functional technical leadership.
- Experience in knowledge management, knowledge capitalisation, training and mentoring,
- Decision maker and resourceful: capability to take decisions when needed and pull in experts as/when needed.
- Track records of designing quality systems/components that comply with safety requirements, exceed design requirements, beat cost targets, and exceed reliability targets
