**EMEA Product Design Senior Scientist (OSR) (All genders / D) - France**

Our Breeding EMEA team, and more specifically the Product Design EMEA team for Rapeseed, is looking for a new colleague as "Product Design Senior Scientist".

Ideally based on our Boissay site in Eure et Loire (France), a major research station in Europe for our Rapeseed breeding activities, you will join a multidisciplinary team in charge of exploiting and analyzing genomic, phenomic and environmental data of our Rapeseed seed varieties with the aim of creating improved germplasm.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality seeds, reliable data, and making informed recommendations to the Product Development teams on products to integrate into our pipeline.

For this, you will use accelerated breeding schemes, and any innovations that you find relevant in genomics, quantitative genetics, computational biology and functional genomics.
Your role will be key in the design and implementation of a quantitative genetics framework to advance our Precision Breeding strategy for the Product Design team in the EMEA Region but also with and in collaboration with colleagues around the world (North America, LATAM, APAC).

**Your profile**:
Holder of a PHD in genetics (plant, human or animal), or in Selection (Plant Breeding or Animal Breeding), or in quantitative genetics, or bioinformatics,.... you are passionate. through innovation and the use of data (Data Science).
You have experience in the analysis of large biological datasets, quantitative genetics, biostatistics, functional genomics as well as coding experience in C, R, Python or similar software and languages
Accustomed to working and collaborating at the international level and in multi-cultural environments, you have the ability to influence and manage without hierarchical links and at all levels of the company.
Results-oriented, and a real team player, you have the ability to manage several projects in parallel.
