L'ISU est la seule institution au monde à se consacrer entièrement à l'éducation spatiale depuis 1987. Elle est constituée d'un réseau unique dans le monde, avec un campus central à Strasbourg (France), des centres aux États-Unis et dans la région Asie-Pacifique, ainsi que des partenariats avec des organisations spatiales de premier plan dans le monde entier.

Responsabilités:

- Planification du programme d'études en coordination avec l'équipe du programme de master de l'ISU ;
- Assurer le mentorat et servir de conseiller académique aux étudiants du programme de master ;
- Mise en place et évaluation des devoirs/examens et évaluation du travail des étudiants ;
- Supervision des projets de thèse de maîtrise ;
- Contribution aux projets d'équipe du programme de master et supervision de ces projets ;
- Participation à d'autres tâches liées aux activités académiques de l'ISU ;

Qualifications:

- Doctorat en ingénierie aérospatiale ou mécanique ou dans un domaine connexe ;
- Expérience de l'enseignement à un niveau supérieur d'un programme d'études sur les principes de l'ingénierie spatiale ;
- Antécédents de recherche dans le domaine de l'ingénierie spatiale, y compris des demandes de financement réussies,, la gestion de projets de recherche/d'installations ;
- Un bilan avéré d'articles de revues, de livres ou de documents de conférence évalués par les pairs en rapport avec l'espace ;
- Excellente connaissance de l'anglais (langue officielle d'enseignement de l'ISU).

Qualifications préférées:

- Capacité à adapter la pédagogie de l'enseignement aux connaissances de chaque individu et de chaque classe ;
- Capacité à travailler efficacement à la fois de manière indépendante et au sein d'une équipe pluridisciplinaire, collaborer avec des chercheurs d'horizons divers, faire preuve d'innovation et mener à bien les tâches qui lui sont confiées ;
- Expérience en matière de conception de programmes d'études et d'évaluation ;
- Expérience de la recherche computationnelle et/ou empirique (par exemple, en laboratoire) ;
- Expérience du travail avec des équipes ou des organisations interdisciplinaires, interculturelles et internationales.
