ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy. Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world’s largest fusion reactor. As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself. Jacobs is recruiting a **Radiological Test Coordinator (with at least 3 years of experience) **to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.

He/She will be responsible for:

- Prepare the RT considering the regulatory and IO requirements
- Facilitate operations / communicate the RT planned taken into account the coactivity, radioprotection aspects
- Facilitate the safety coordination between the RT Company and surrounding companies
- Formalize and follow movement of source storage area
- Record the feedback and propose improvement

**Here’s what you’ll need**:
**Specific skills**:
**Radiological test operations supervisions**
- Preparation of activities
- Validation of documentation (procedures, safety, quality, radioprotection)
- Ensure the creation of document on E-VISION (CMA specification)
- Supervision of the accesses on site of the RT companies operators and materials
- Before the RT operation, checking of the general and specific RT intervention conditions
- Checks (working conditions, safety, radioprotection, dose rate measurements, exclusion zone)
- Ensure the biological protection of the companies present during the RT
- Manage the dedicated area to storage radiological source on the ITER site
- Information of the RT occurrence
- Organize specific meeting (contractors meeting, RT brief, RT awareness, RT induction)

**Assistance in case of Emergency situation**
- Verify and facilitate the information exchange
- Participate in the emergency operations upon request
- Organize the evacuation of a zone/site (in case of need)

**Reporting**
- Prepare a daily report after each mobilization period, and a monthly and yearly report

**Training / Qualification**
- PCR (Personne Compétente Radioprotection in French)
- PR1 (trained on risk of ionizing radiation)
- Health & Safety Degree would be an asset
