Your Future Team

Our team is based in the South of France, in the technological park named Sophia-Antipolis, situated between Nice and Cannes. As part of the Axis Software Team based in Lund (Sweden), we aim to make cameras smarter by crafting camera-embedded AI-based Video Analytics software.

Our team has worked in the field of Video Analytics for many years and is highly skilled on a range of topics. It is a very transverse team going from deep R&D on the latest AI technologies to building and testing robust software that has been deployed in all parts of the world.

What will be your role?

As part of our team and of the global Axis Software Team, you will be developing cutting-edge technologies revolving around analyzing video streams to infer high-level information to build products designed to make the world safer and smarter.

You will write code going into products sold around the world and that can make a difference for our customers. You will be part of all the phases of product-making life from inception to customer feedback.

You will be tightly collaborating with your colleagues in Sweden who boast a variety of skills, including hardcore embedded Linux engineers, AI R&D research engineers, validation engineers, front-end developers and of course peer software engineers.

We want you to have a strong technical background and be autonomous, pragmatic and proactive in suggesting solutions to the technical challenges we are tackling.

We are looking for someone who is curious and passionate in the production of high quality, robust and reusable code and who has already built products from design to validation. Continuous improvement is important to you and it’s natural for you to share your knowledge so that everybody learns alongside

If you fit this portrait, we would like you to:
- Be proficient in either Python and/or C++, in both Windows and Linux environments- Have experience designing, developing and testing software products.- Have good experience in imaging and video analytics software. You have met many pixels along the way- Be very familiar with Git and/or Gerrit- Have developed or played with Artificial Intelligence libraries or at least understand the underlying concepts.

Knowledge in cameras, web and cloud technologies, software evaluation and imaging SDKs is a big plus.

You need to be fluent in English whilst French and/or Swedish are considered bonus skills. Knowing what Fika means is important, though.
