**Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?**
The Supplier Development Manager (SDM) owns the complete supplier quality process from RFI till EOP of strategical/critical products (incl components), processes and services. The SDM is responsible for the _new supplier qualification, anticipates the serial production quality by monitoring the APQP & PPAP process to meet the SGS targets (and OEM requirements) as well as _the supplier quality process from SOP until EOP

The SDM is the referred interface with the suppliers in case of supplier qualification, supplier product and process qualification, quality and system management and supplier development during the development phase, change management till EOP, and escalation process.

**RESPONSABILITIES**

During sourcing : Support Advanced Engineering or after OEM nomination, the purchasing supplier selection process:

- _Pre-qualification of the new suppliers by potential audit ,_
- _Risk analysis between the technical expert (PG Compiegne or Germany, DIAS) and the project purchaser _
- _Support project purchasing with expertise during sourcing decision_

During product development:

- _Supplier APQP process follow-up (stage/gate process)_
- _Define and approve internal specifications together with the technical experts_
- _PPAP management: Reception of PPAP samples, approval with the technical expert and storage of PPAP file_
- _Define incoming inspection if needed together with the technical experts_
- _Claim management during development phase_
- _Lessons learned capitalization_

During Serial life:

- _a _Claim management respecting SGS KPI’s_ (Problem solving (8D), Reply Time, cost and cost recovery_)_
- _Audit management: Regular or claim induced supplier audits and action plan follow-up_
- _Supplier Performance Evaluation_
- _Supplier development of weak B or C suppliers to strive to A supplier level_
- _Supplier performance evaluation_
- _Risk assessment_
- _Supplier VDA 6.3 Audits to assess the gap_
- _Development with the supplier a continuous improvement plan to meet SGS expectation (system, Quality, Service, Delivery)_
- _Maintain related eTools updated (Claim Management ASM, Audit Management SAM, SQT )_
- _Support change management_

Coach/train
- _Suppliers, specifically those that are only ISO 9001 certified _
- _Internal Training resource for SGS organization/people in contact with the suppliers on SGS quality requirement (for example: technical expert, Competence Centre, project purchaser, production)_
- _Internal training for the use of the ASM tool within the organization_
- General:_
- _Develop positive relationships and effective lines of communication with suppliers: Partnership-oriented arrangements_

**Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?**
- Mechanical or Process Engineer, Material Engineer, General Engineer Diploma or equivalent with quality knowledge
- 5 Years: At least one significant Production (Transformation/**Assembly**) background, **automotive industry preferred** or related industries
- Including 3 Year Quality Management
