Pd Technician Apprentice

To this end, the trainee will assist the technical manager of the project in carrying out specific tests and developing new methods.

Main Missions:
**Technical tasks**:

- Organize, plan and realize the technical studies of the laboratory defined with the manager.
- Write short technical reports, some in English, assurance of reliability and traceability of results.
- Knowledge of laboratory analysis
- Respect and implement, where applicable, the procedures and operating methods
- Interpret and communicate on the technical progress of the project
- Acquire and study the information and procedures necessary to carry out experiments
- If necessary, develop and implement new test methods
- Analyze data and results
- Check the relevance of the results
- Guarantee the reliability of the conclusions of the analyzes in relation to the objectives of the project

**Reports**:

- Keep rigorous written notes of the experimental work
- Present the result with conclusions supported by data to the technical manager
- Write detailed and illustrated written reports (with tables and graphs)

**Organizational tasks and security**:

- Respect the schedule and deadlines for experimental work and other project assignments
- Comply with internal procedures and good internal organization and security practices

**Competencies and qualifications required in the position**:

- Student in Bachelor Degree in génie biologique or génie biotechnologique
- Good knowledge of analytical methods in molecular biology and chemistry.
- Ability to search for information (colleagues, literature, standards, etc.)
- Rigor, curiosity, dynamism, and proactivity
- Autonomy and interpersonal skills (with interlocutors of different nationalities)
- Good ability to analyze and interpret results, Critical thinking on results
- Work in a research laboratory environment and work in a team
- Flexibility to learn new technical topics and adapt to organizational requirements
- Good level of English desired
