Description du poste
- Legal advice for all local (French) in-house teams and local management (e.g. contract law, labor law, real estate law, competition law, corporate law, data protection law, and compliance)
- Draft of contract templates, review of internal and external contracts (in French and English) as well as negotiation and management of contracts
- Responsibility for managing court and administrative proceedings in France including the coordination of external legal advisors
- Managing local compliance matters and provision of due diligence support
- Regular reporting and proactive communication with our General Counsel (based in Berlin) as well as local and HQ leadership teams
**Qualifications**:
- Fully qualified French lawyer and broad expertise in legal affairs
- Several years of professional experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably in a fast-growing internet company or at a top-tier law firm with specialist knowledge in the above-mentioned areas
- Confident appearance and assertiveness, as well as the ability to identify and assess risks independently, to develop practical solutions, and to accompany the correct implementation
- Hand-on mentality and the ability to explain and breakdown legal contents to stakeholders from non-legal departments
- Fluency in French and English; German language skills are a plus
