Location: Exotrail's Massy office

Department: In-Orbit Services

Reports To: AIT Team Leader

Employment Type: Full-time

Exotrail is hiring an AIT Technician with a robust background in Facilities, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Maintenance, Logistics, and Stock Management. This role is crucial to ensuring that AIT operations are supported by well-maintained facilities, fully operational GSE, and an organized inventory. You will be responsible for cleanroom and workshop maintenance, inventory control, and logistics, providing essential support for spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing phases.

The current team comprises several AIT engineers and technicians across missions (LEO, GEO, Rendez-vous), and this role will support test phases for diverse mission types.

**Your main tasks will be**:
Facility & Cleanroom Management: Oversee the maintenance and readiness of cleanroom and workshop facilities, ensuring adherence to strict operational and safety standards. Monitor cleanroom conditions, equipment, and consumables to maintain a controlled environment for sensitive hardware assembly.

GSE & Equipment Maintenance: Manage calibration, upkeep, and operational readiness of all Ground Support Equipment (GSE), ensuring availability and optimal functionality for testing and integration phases. Drive GSE design improvements and manage the lifecycle of equipment, from CAD design to manufacturing and operational deployment.

Stock & Inventory Control: Track and manage inventory levels of critical components, tools, and consumables. Ensure accurate documentation and timely replenishment to prevent delays in AIT operations. Develop and implement inventory control processes, utilizing inventory management systems to enhance efficiency.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics for receiving, storing, and deploying hardware and testing equipment. Facilitate smooth transport of components and tools between facilities, ensuring that all necessary resources are available when needed.

In-House Preparation for EVT and Launch Campaigns: Organize and prepare all materials, tools, and equipment required for environmental testing and launch campaigns. Coordinate closely with other AIT members and engineering teams to ensure that all necessary resources meet EVT and launch specifications.

ESD and HSE Compliance: Oversee compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols to protect sensitive electronics, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards in all work areas, particularly in the cleanroom and workshop.

Assembly & Integration Assistance: Provide hands-on support during spacecraft assembly and integration, assisting in tasks related to mechanical, electrical, and thermal integration. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment and maintain testing setups.

Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): Identify and report anomalies encountered during GSE or Spacecraft assembly, integration and testing, working with quality assurance to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation: Document all procedures related to facilities, GSE maintenance, and inventory management. Implement improvements to streamline processes, enhance safety, and support best practices in AIT workflows.

You will work under the supervision of the AIT Team Leader and maintain regular interactions with the cross-functional teams.
