Position Description

**Description**:
As a part of Faurecia Design’s team, you will actively participate to CMF projects. Based on your experience and your deep knowledge of the Industrial Design world, you will contribute to develop this discipline in collaboration with Faurecia worldwide Design Studio, ensure the development of working methodologies within Faurecia Industrial Design, from the design concept creation till physical or virtual prototype.

In strong collaboration with Faurecia Innovation team, you will participate in new materials, products, and processes elaboration. As a major actor in Industrial Design project development, you will interact with various internal and external partners. It is therefore essential to be sensitive to generic business matters and market drivers, in accordance with trades and markets.

Purpose of the job:
As CMF Designer, (s)he will be an important contributor in all innovative projects, dedicated to internal as well as external customers. His (her) main tasks will be to:

- Contribute to Industrial Design process during RFQ, development and innovation phasis.
- Contribute actively to the CMF expertise development
- Communicate on CMF expertise and mission with internal and external contacts
- Monitor and decode the major trends, and transform them into concepts and product proposals
- Support the customer in the product definition, with alternative proposals in accordance with technical and economic targets
- Specific sustainable material research

**Responsibilities**:
(S)he has to:

- Follow CMF projects as Industrial Designer contributor, in charge of:

- Trend monitoring &customer profiles
- CMF definition and creation
- Complete CMF proposals
- Development of new surfaces focusing on sustainable materials
- Fuel Innovation with new ideas/projects, coming out of a structured thinking process

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Master's degree in Industrial Design

Experience:

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in Automotive, CMF Design or Product Industrial Design
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written and visual

Nice to have:

- International experience
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Driving licence

Technical skills:

- Able to use Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic knowledge on VRED or Blender
- Good materials processes knowledge
- Ability to develop strong customer relationship (internal & external)
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills with design and technical actors on verbal, written and visual exchanges
