BNEU is the western content hub of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.(BNEI), and is building its reputation with franchises such as LITTLE NIGHTMARES, THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY, and the upcoming UNKNOWN 9 Awakening - developed by the recently acquired Reflector Entertainment based in Montreal, QC.
Part of the Japanese Bandai Namco group, an entertainment industry leader with a presence in video games, toys and amusement parks, Bandai Namco Europe has 15 international offices with operations in 50 countries around the world.
**Poste**:
Within the EMEA Headquarters and under the responsibility the EMEA Marketing Director, you join the Marketing team dedicated to the management of video games developed by our Japanese mother company.
You build and carry out the EMEA Marketing Strategy for your portfolio of products across EMEA territories to maximize revenue and contributive margin.
In collaboration with management and Central Departments, you work on a holistic approach of the products, physical and digital, video game as well as other entertainment extensions.
You create and provide promotional assets, communication tools and strategies to our Sales Companies. You carefully manage a marketing budget and adopts a data-driven approach to monitor KPIs and adapt plans accordingly.
You also monitor and motivate a team of EMEA Junior Product Manager(s) to ensure that their duties are carried out on time and budget, in accordance with products’ and Sales Companies’ needs.
Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):
**Strategy definition and tailoring**
- Work hand-in-hand with Japanese and American HQs to define the main strategic pillars, communication beats and audience targeting at a WW level
- Lead and coordinate with other Central Departments the fine-tuning and adaptation of global strategy into a comprehensive EMEA specific marketing plan
- Provide necessary support and resources to Sales Companies for them to adapt EMEA strategy into their local tailored marketing plan
**Project implementation and coordination**
- Ensure efficient coordination of the projects through all stakeholders (local Product Managers, 1st parties, licensors, other HQs etc.) using the necessary tools (planners, calendars, internal communication channels etc.)
- Lead the creation of great-quality communication assets in accordance with the established marketing strategy and in collaboration with the necessary internal/external stakeholders
- Carefully monitor and optimize marketing budget to achieve best possible ROI from marketing assets and activations
- Provide Sales Companies with all information and resources they need to execute their local marketing plan
- In collaboration with relevant Departments (eCommerce, Licensing, etc ) and external partners (other licensees), work on 360° expansion of our games’ footprint within the entertainment industry. Think out of the box to find impactful marketing actions
**KPIs analysis and reporting**
- Closely monitor relevant KPIs (pre-orders, wishlists, DAU, followers etc.) to evaluate efficiency and ROI of marketing activations
- Analyze and translate those KPIs into learnings and action plans to continuously improve and fine-tune communication strategy and assets
- Build regular reports to communicate results to necessary internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a high level of working knowledge on the entire videogame market and its emerging marketing trends and opportunities, global entertainment market as well as macroeconomic trends
**Team Management***
- Set personal objectives in accordance with the overall marketing strategies and monitor results to evaluate performances
- Empower and encourage the team for each member to grow and sharpen their skills
- Distribute tasks and responsibilities among the team
- Participate in hiring process and onboarding of newcomers
- Make sure to foster action-driven and data-centric mindset
**Profil**:
**Knowledge and skills**:
- Very good knowledge of marketing principles & tools
- Good knowledge of the videogame and/or entertainment industry
- Being well-informed of new gaming business models (GaaS, Free-To-Play, Freemium, Mobile Gaming, etc) would be a major plus
- Affinity with some of the Bandai Namco franchises would be a plus as well
- Fluent English (oral and written) is mandatory
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in parallel
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to process and synthesize large amounts of information
- Ability to work well under pressure and cope with stress
**Experience and qualifications**:
- At least 5+ years of proven experience within a Marketing department preferable within the entertainment industry
- A first managerial experience is required
