Backup Engineer

Our IT Department - Group Information Systems (GIS) is looking for a **Backup Engineer **(M/F) to join our SQL & Back up Competence Center teams in **Seloncourt (25)**, France (Hybride).

Protecting data ? One of the most interesting challenges today. Backup is one of the strongest part of the answer.

Ready for challenges that matter?_**
- You will take this challenge with the very lastest technologies : Veeam V11 and V12, CDP, Commvault V11, Druva._
- In a motivating and international enviroment, you will manage the backup platform and the backup services, for on-premises data but also for M365 data._
- All steps from pre-study to homologation and run are covered. _
- A strongly skilled team will interract with you about security elements, local elements and homologation parts._

Your main scope and missions will be: _**
- _Scope / Backup technologies_
- _ COMMVAULT V11_
- _ VEEAM backup and replication V11 - V12 including CDP_
- _ DRUVA M365 backup service_
- _ Perimeter _
- _All sites - 40 countries_
- _ Partially DCs_
- _ M365_
- _ Standardize and homologate backup systems for the group._
- _ Learn in an early phase the new features of a new version_
- _ Test new versions in relation to what this could bring to our systems_
- _ Deliver procedures (installation, upgrade, migration...)_
- _ Manage global backup policy_
- _ Deploy_
- _ New sites / renewals_
- _ With local support provided by local IT_
- _ Provide 2nd and 3rd level support + support operations (startup/migrations/upgrades)_
- _ Ensure the support for planned operations or unsolved issues_

and if you were the one _**
- _ Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialisation in Information Technology_
- _ Minimum 3 years experience in Backup Systems_
- _ IT mindset with willingness to learn top technology elements and to share acquired knowledge with colleagues_
- _ Ability to use methods, norms and tools of software development_
- _ Good communication skills_
- _ Good English skills (oral and written)_
- _ Business trip : 10% of the time_
