This is an excellent opportunity for a guide maintenance mechanic/technician to join the Le Boat team where you will play a key role in preparing the boat yard for arriving customers for the season. Duties include assisting in the receiving of boats off trucks, prepping boats with equipment over the winter, commissioning and launching in the spring, hauling in the fall and setting up the marine shop with equipment and supplies.

**What you will be doing**:

- Maintain the fleet to the highest of standards in terms of presentation to the customer and reliability
- Ensure boats are in good shape to be turned around and presented in excellent condition.
- Maintain maintenance schedule as per manufactures warranty
- Ability to perform installations of electrical and mechanical equipment, small cosmetic fiberglass repairs (we are happy to train you)
- Liaise with Head Tech & Base Manager, day to day prioritizing work in efficient manner
- Ability to travel with company vehicles to off-site locations to do emergency repairs
- Hauling/launching, commissioning and de-commissioning of fleet
- Gas dock operations as needed, watering, fuelling and pumping out holding tanks
- **In charge of mechanical maintenance/repairs to 36 and 45ft. fiberglass boats, technical interventions on pumps, batteries, diesel engines, electrical, propane and hydraulic connections**

**What we are looking for**:
**Skills, experience, knowledge, qualifications and training**
- Any technical studies / hands-on experiences related to diesel engines, hydraulic system, water pump or HVAC repair and general maintenance
- **Experience in boat maintenance highly helpful**:

- Willingness to learn and improve technical skills (marine engineering)
- Ability to read specifications and installation instructions
- Knowledge of marine diesels and proficient systems would be helpful
- Excellent organization prioritizing skills
- A passion for boating and shown experience is a bonus
- Driving license holders
- Ability to work on-site in Portiragnes, Occitanie, France
- **Fluent in English or French** (any other language skills such as Spanish, Italian, Dutch or German would be a bonus)
- **Fully eligible to work in France**
