- Enable and support the business changes, innovation and process simplification,
- Maintain the service continuity (no activity stoppage),
- Insure cost containment and ownership.

In an organization with accelerated digital transformation initiatives and landscape modernization, the IT department needs to adapt its structure to continuously provide the support to its business partners.

To respond to these new challenges, an important pillar of the local IT department will be the creation of an Application & Technical area. In this context, the creation of a new role: IT Application & Technical Lead, needs to be implemented.

It is important to highlight the dual responsibility of this role: Applications and Operations.
- As a dynamic and flexible environment, the IT Application & Technical Lead is technically savvy and technically oriented, in order to support the technical environment of the site, the site operations and technical projects as needed.

**Drive Applications**
- Support the IT Manager and business teams in defining requirements (and in particular the value at stake), participate to the study to insure deliverables are at the right level of content and quality, support the business in writing the RFA (project) or the Business Requirement (change request)
- Check the coherence of the proposed solutions
- Supports the IT processes in production, local finance, local purchasing and logistics
- Continuous development of new solutions and future trends in the areas of digitalization, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and cloud in our business units and production sites
- Drive small / medium projects

**Drive operations**
- Drive operationally the suppliers that deliver IT services to the site, controlling the service levels and tracking their action plans
- Analyze the risks and propose mitigation plans in the scope of IT
- Supports the IT Manager in the contact for the site process owners and key users on the IT topics.
- Supports the software and infrastructure incident and change management for the site

**Other**
- Supports the IT Manager in the local budget in coordination with the headquarter and plant management
- Implement cost saving initiatives and IT driven innovation
- Ensure compliancy with all IT security matters (SOX, patches, Tisax, IATF )
- Creation of documentation and implementation of user trainings
- Compliance with the corporate rules of EHS and legal requirements for safety and the environment.
- Support the IT Manager in the definition of IT strategy in alignment with IT Central teams
- Contribute to the definition of strategic and operational objectives by aligning the IT activities on the site strategy and the IT central orientations.

In addition to the above obligations the employee performs other duties imposed by the line management in accordance with work focus.

- Senior expertise in project management (small-medium size projects)
- Knowledge in virtualized Windows environments
- Knowledge in Programming and databases
- Knowledge in IT Security
- Knowledge in Network- IT experience in production sites
- Experience in supplier management
