Amplitude is a team of experienced, quality driven video game lovers and creators of the finest strategy games with the help of our players Founded in 2011 and acquired by SEGA in 2016, we are a team of over 170 developers based in Paris with an international team hailing from all over the world.

We recently released HUMANKIND, a historical strategy epic where players combine cultures and lead their people from the Bronze to the Modern age.

We're also well known for our critically acclaimed ENDLESS series, played by millions worldwide, including ENDLESS Space, ENDLESS Legend, Dungeon of the ENDLESS, and ENDLESS Space 2. Our next title will be ENDLESS Dungeon, a squad-based rogue-lite tactical action game.

Our close relationship with the community is a core feature of the studio's philosophy. We're proud of the way we create games together with our players via Games2Gether, our custom-built community platform that enables our community to play a key role in the creation of our games at every stage of development.

**Description**

We are looking for a Lead Programmer (permanent contract) to contribute to our next projects.

More specifically, under the supervision of the Technical Director you will:

- Take charge of the technical architecture of the project and carry the technical vision.
- Collaborate with programmer leads (AI, UI, Gameplay...) to coordinate the efforts and make sure the milestones are delivered in time and quality.
- Work closely with the programmer leads and producers on the development status of the game.
- Collaborate with discipline directors and leads to solve problems and mitigate risks.
- Identify and communicate roadblocks that may prevent teams from achieving the determined goals within the required milestones.
- Provide technical answers to the potential challenges or risks identified by the team members.
- Review and improve processes and tools, to improve quality, efficiency, and team effectiveness.
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 programmer leads from various programming specialties (IA, UI, Gameplay, Audio...)

**Required experience**:

- Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in video game industry in a similar or relevant position

**Required skills and profile:
- Knowledge of Unity
- Proficient in C# and / or C++
- One or more experiences on different specialties is an asset (UI, AI, Network, Audio, Gameplay)
- Strong abilities in management, communication, and planning
- Ability to work effectively within a team and interact with a large variety of profiles (game designers, producers...)
- Responsible and creative
- Fully fluent in English and in French
- Organizational skills
